The Sweet Life

I’ve never been one for perfumes. It’s so hard to find a scent I actually like! I think this is like this for most people when it comes to any scent. Last weekend, Josh and I were in Bath & Body Works. We literally smelled every single 3-wick candle there was before we could settle on a scent. When it comes to candles I’ll burn in our home, I usually consult Josh because he’s also picky with scents. So, two picky people going candle shopping was not the greatest idea ever! However, we did settle on their lavender vanilla candle. I think we really like sweet scents, but nothing overwhelming.

And that’s exactly what this scent is like! I was skeptical at first. I didn’t want to smell like a kid right out of a candy store or like it was too young for my age. I have to say this scent is none of those things! The top note definitely has a sweet smell, but it’s subtle. As the perfume wears more throughout the day, it starts to smell like roses (in my opinion). A definite win in my book!

Also, how cute are those lip cookies?! We snagged the last bunch from a local bakery! Of course, they didn’t last very long 😉
