I’ve been wanting to write a post like this forever and I think the first week of the new Hogwarts school year is the perfect time! Harry Potter is one of those stories that we’re going to be reading to our children and they’ll read it to theirs.
I’m a Ravenclaw (in case all the book reviews weren’t obvious). I’m one of those people that thinks you can tell a lot about a person by what house they’re in. I looove asking you all what house you belong to because I think it’s fun to find out and to see you all discover your housemates!
While you can definitely deck your place out in true Harry Potter stuff (there’s the Harry Potter shop AND Pottery Barn just released madness of epic proportions on their teen and kid sites), I think it’s also fun to curate some pieces that play on house aesthetic and maybe aren’t so obvious.
There’s way more than this out there, but here’s a good start! Enjoy, my fellow Potterheads 🙂

This lookbook is made for all the Gryffindors out there. Cozy, but trendy. Warm and friendly. The place people go when they need cheer, heart-to-hearts, and a home-sweet-home. A home where you can cuddle up, hang out, and set up with pizza while binging on Netflix.
This lookbook is made for all the Hufflepuffs out there. Light plays on light. Green thumbs have plenty of opportunity to nurse beautiful houseplants that will breathe life into your home. Easily one of the prettiest homes. It’s hard to feel anything but positivity in a place like this.
This lookbook is made for all the Ravenclaws out there. Bookish folk who enjoy finer things. Night owls that don’t want to choose between stargazing and staying up with a page-turner. Productivity and focus are the games, but comfort is king. It’s a home where little treasures are hiding around every corner.
This lookbook is made for all the Slytherins out there. Luxury reigns, but never without a touch of dark and witty humor. It’s not about the amount of things, but the quality of things. Every area is curated with intention. The ultimate goal: to kick up after a long day with a good glass of wine knowing that you worked hard for this.
