This gift guide is for the ultimate foodie and chef in our lives. As a frequent cooker, I can attest to the many things on this holiday wish list. You’ll find something for every budget: from under $25 to mega splurges. In addition, chefs at every level, whether you’re just learning to cook or you’re buying for your friend who’s a professional, can get use out of these tools!
COOKBOOKS
Many people (including myself) use Pinterest nowadays for the latest recipes. However, even though Pinterest hasĀ tonsĀ of recipes, nothing beats a cookbook. A current cookbook I’m loving is this one by Jamie Oliver. I also recently received Niomi Smart’s new cookbook that’s completely plant-based! Josh and I are particularly excited to dive into that one. There are certain recipes you just can’t find online. Here are some more cookbooks that I’m loving!
SOME OF OUR FAVORITES
TOOLS + GADGETS
Every chef has their preferences for the types of tools and gadgets they need in the kitchen. For me? I’m between ogling at the options and trying to keep it as minimum as possible. In fact, a lot of things I do by hand (i.e. pasta rolling). I’ve included two guides: one are your basic essentials. It’s pretty hard to get creative in the kitchen without these. The other guide has more fun gadgets. This is for the chef in your life that has the basics down and is looking for a new outlet.

KITCHEN FUN
All this is great fun, but what’s the point if you don’t have something to serve it all with? In my kitchen, presentation is just as important as the process. Be weary in this section. You don’t want to get a platter for someone you know already has lots of them! How can you tell? Well, think back to times you’d hang out together. If you remember them always having a certain kind of piece (i.e. various platters, trays, etc.), then skip buying them another. The safe option: you can never have too many kitchen towels.
