This year has been a year of discovery. For example, I’ve discovered that not only are homemade donuts easy to make, but they’re also 100 times better when they’re homemade! Josh is a donut fanatic. This recipe has been partially inspired by him and his love for all things chocolate. He’s a picky chocolatier: it can’t be anything, chocolate should be quality. I completely agree with him.
This recipe has a bit more ingredients than the usual donut recipe I make. However, it makes the fluffiest, softest cake donuts I’ve ever had. I also decided to make donut holes out of the extra dough, but you can also use the extra pieces for more donuts!
