As I mentioned in this post, Josh and I have recently been dabbling in the plant-based world. I considered making this cake “normal” with dairy and eggs, but I figured since I’ve already gone down the rabbit hole, why not give it shot! I can’t call this a plant-based recipe because it still uses conventional sugar, but there are ways to make it plant-based! This is also a fantastic recipe for all you non-vegans! There’s no compromise on taste or consistency. It actually came out extremely decadent. The hidden gem: melted chocolate baked into the cake. Enjoy!
