Happy Friday! One thing that I’ve loved about personal blogs since they first grazed the Internet are the ones that would have regular updates on cool things they’d find throughout the week. It was always so interesting and I’ve discovered some true gems that way. So, I’ve decided to bring it to The Cozie in a weekly series. I hope you find something interesting. If not, feel free to share whatever you found that’s more interesting!
ONE // Best Beauty Finds on Amazon
I was actually surprised by this link when I came across it because I don’t typically think of Amazon being a beauty place. Sephora, yes. Ulta, yes. Even CVS, yes. Amazon? No. But, I found several items that I want off that list. Namely, the brush kit because my brushes are pretty much toast after using them for several years and I could go for a new set. I also liked this because if you were to just search beauty items on Amazon, it would give you weird results, where as these are pretty great.
TWO // Hot Chocolate Cookies
A few weeks ago, I made a pizookie inspired from this recipe and it was amazing. Epicurious always has awesome recipes if you’re in the mood for something really sweet like that. And, with half the country being frozen solid right now, I figured some of you would want to spend your snow days snuggled up with something this good.
THREE // Fishtail Braid Inspo
I’ve always had long hair because my hair grows ridiculously fast. Now that I’m pregnant, it’s been growing even faster. I’ll cut off 2″-3″ off of it every other week or so. Even then, it will grow about 4″ every other week. I’ve been wanting to cut my hair shoulder length again, but I don’t want to do it right now with this growth rate because I’d probably only enjoy that hairstyle for all of 3 weeks before it’s back to long. So, I love finding videos like this one from LuxyHair for style ideas! This hairstyle will definitely take a bit longer than throwing your hair into a ponytail, but not necessarily more effort. And, it has a gorgeous finish.
FOUR // Big, Cozy Blanket Knit Kit
I just saw this knit kit from We Are Knitters and I’m itching to get my hands on it! Of course, I’m resisting because I’m currently working on crocheting a different blanket (can’t wait to show you guys that because it’s coming out beautifully!) and making cute little knit bunny overalls for the baby for Easter! But, this kit will definitely make it’s way into our home soon!
I’ve been following the BellaMumma blog for years. I just love everything she puts out! She doesn’t repeat content. All of her things are well thought out and super useful. She wrote this piece a couple days ago and I had to share it! I don’t really like the idea of “resolutions” and I prefer to think of them as “goals”, but it’s the same concept either way.
Anyway, that’s all from my little corner. I hope you all have a great weekend! Leave a comment if you’ve also found cool little bits around the Internet 🙂
